What Is It & Why Do I Need It?
We live on the coast and our roofs take a beating! The Bayfront Bullet Proof Roof is a proprietary way of installing roofs exclusive to Bayfront. We start with highly trained, skilled labor that will be performing the work. All work is documented via pictures that are shared with the home owner in real time. only the best products! No generic materials used ever! We build to exceed all local building codes. This roof is built to last a lifetime and therefore each roof gets a lifetime warranty!
How Is It Built?
We start by exposing all wood. Replace the rot and nail all the decking including existing decking to code. We then install all aluminum or stainless steel flashing. No galvanized metal that will rust. Then we install a self-adhering underlayment directly to the wood decking as the base of the roof. We only use Ownes Corning duration lifetime shingles. This is a lifetime shingle with a Surenail strip, nothing else compares! We use only hot dipped galvanized ring shank storm nails. We use only hot dipped galvanized ring shank storm nails. Hard polymer ridge vents, starter shingles, 2 extra nails per shingle, ice and water to all valleys and problem areas, no lead ever, we use a lifetime polymer vent cover that squirrels will not destroy!!!
